Here is a quick edit of the Starboard Gemini tandem board blasting along. We had another cam angle to cut in but it is in London now. This is a bit rough but you get the idea, Loads of fun when fully powered.

Is that thing even gybeable?
If I were in front, I'd be wearing a helmet.

Hi Paul,What size fin are you using? Our Gemini has a 700 Drake formula in it but I was under the impression that the cocos lagoon would be too shallow for that.

We used a drake 38cm wide base freeride fin, the sort off of the older 120ish pre-kode. No need for a big fin to cruise around on. The board goes up wind enough as is.

years ago we converted an old Pan-Am board into a tandem, stuck a fin box on the nose and one in the centreboard case;
was a lot of fun.

How do you avoid hitting the guy in fronts head as you gybe!

helmets are useful... (taken from real-world experience...)

The back sailor must tip the rig to the rear as it flips so the clew goes over the front sailor. Quite the opposite from what you are normally trying to do.
