suppable windsurfers... or windsurfable sups?

the difference is more than just semantics!

I've had my Starboard 11'2 Element at 27kts at Nelson bay, but my Fanatic 8'5 barely planes unless it is on the wave - then it is very good, but not as good as my Nuevo 120litre... but I havent tried supping the Nuevo and the Fanatic is a great SUP!

I look forward to trying one of the Sunnovas.
Well done Bert!

I see that they're made of wood, so they'll be nice and floaty. He he

You're forgiven ...for now. ^^

His original factory was built right here in my town.

He called it Sunova Beach.

I always thought that was an edgy name.

I believe there were Sunova Windsurfing boards back in the 1980s (unless I am mistaken) so they must sense some market opportunities by re-entering the field of competition.

I remember the wooden boards sailing out at Dutch Inn in the 1980s...

I think I even stopped in the shop interested in buying one I think they had an outlet in Cottesloe, near after and around where Highwinds (Ken Eichenberg/Gil Stubbs) were for a short time..I think they were on the other side of the road to Santosha/Star..If my memory serves me right...

This is interesting. Bert Burger, Sunova Beach... then Firewire...now Sunova Beach..a great innovator.
