After hitting the reef a couple of weeks ago the thread in my slot fin bow has been stripped and it unlikely that it will hold the screw which holds my fins in place.
I have checked with dr google and he tells me that Permatex Stripped Thread Repair Kit can restore the thread.
Just wanted to check if anyone has any experience with using this Permatex product or other ways to restore the thread..

I believe you can get a larger gauge screw from surf shops for FCS boxes with the same problem. I imagine that will do the job.
