Does anybody have any experience running any type of fundraising event associated with this? If you do please PM me, I'd like to put on something that gives the Perth Wind/Kite/SUP community a chance to give and have some fun as well. Thinking maybe a speed comp run from South Perth which will be close to the convention centre where it is being held this year.
Emphasis would be on getting as many participants as possible and not the winning, with a steep entry fee that would go to Telethon, something like 100 entrants at $100 each, makes $10,000.
