Does it matter what way your lines run to your cleats? Mine looks upside down .

It's threaded correctly, can you flip your boom upside down?

This is the correct set up in the southern emisphere, in the Northern one it must be set the other way around

If it's not broken don't fix it ;)

The angle of the line is minimal so the added friction don't make much difference (so I think it is the best you can do with that boom).
If you want it to work better, use some formuline:

Perfect for you downhaull as well.

booms can be put on the mast the other way around
but if that means the downhaul is on the "wrong side" ...
then take the extension out of the boom and turn it around to other side

I removed the screw holding the rear pulley block to the boom, turned the pulley block over and put the screw back

Must have a look under the retaining cap covers, never seen a screwed one before, all been riveted from my experience

. Not sure if i follow but if you mean flip the extension in the arms then the pins are opposite to the holes unless i can move the clips as well.

I have a severne boom and the pulley block is held on with a single nut/bolt that goes all the way through the boom end. I guess you could drill out the rivets, reverse the pulley block and re-rivet it back although you may need to drill new holes ?
