I recently bought a Marquee for $700 off an online company.
I have not received it after 3 months.
I think I have done my money.
Has anyone out there used Pronto online?
It is supposed to be an Australian company based in Western Australia.
I have tried to contact them but their message bank is full and they do not return your emails.
I am going to consumer affairs and I have contacted money bookers.
Does anyone know how to get your money back from an online company?
The Marquee was for my wife's 50th birthday and my sons 21st.

Have you paid by credit card? If so advise the bank and get the payment cancelled. If not contact whatever the WA version of consumer affairs is and advise them of this issue.
Advise the company you are doing this via an email so they can't accuse you of ripping them off.

I found them on Gumtree and only went with them because they were Australian.

I checked them on a scammers site and they said they were legitimate.
We used a prepaid mastercard from Big W which we are trying to find out if you can cancel the purchase like a normal mastercard.

Think you've been had. Maybe they are up the pooper and you might eventually get it if they sort the sh** out.

I lover the Live Chat function on the website, makes them look big and reputable. Bet its never manned. Shonksters.
I tried the chat but as you said it is never manned.
I have managed to speak to a person once who said it was held up by the couriers, but since then he has not answered any of my emails or reponded to my phone messages.
Being a positive person and believing that most people are honest it could be a poorly run company set up by one person who just uses his computer as the middle man to buy and sell items. I have managed to find six complaints about the company, same old story but some people have actually received some items.
Once I find out for sure it is a scam I will inform as many people as possible to avoid this site.
I am hoping someone out in the surfing community may have used this site and had good results.

After 3 months I have managed to get my money back.
I contacted Money bookers who was able to track the money and get my money back and put it back on my woolworths prepaid mastercard.
I also contacted consumer affairs who took 24 days to respond to my complaint.
Woolworths Master card does not take any reponsibility for a purchase after 45 days.
What have I learnt?
Only use well known online companies that you know people have used.
If you do not receive your purchase within 10 days get onto the provider, money bookers, pay pal mastercard etc
With $700 back in my pocket a new board is now on order (:D)
P.S I am only going to do Face to face purchases from now on.
