My first share house had the real gold record for the album on the wall, because one of my housemates was Lindsay, the lead singer/writer of Taman Shud who did three of the songs for the album. He was, websites say, supposed to do the whole thing but for politics or something else that saw G Wayne Thomas brought in.
The other main man from the Shud, Pete, is sailing trimarans at Pittwater these days and IIRC he may have windsurfed in the past.
To be honest, I love the GWT tracks - and the movie apart from the bum crack and the killing of the sharks.
