The wind this week in Maui is zero. Second trip in a row this has happened. SUPing and surfing it is then.

Ha ha! You should've stayed in SEQ. Sailed four days straight last week.

I am not really complaining, love the place, the surf is about to get awesome and the accomodation turned out way better than expected.

Isn't mid-October pushing it anyway ?

I always thought October was sort of the time you gambled to get early winter swells and late summer winds both occurring, but usually you got neither.

Didn't the season always used to end on the last weekend in September with the big gear bring-and-buy yard sale thing at (Kanaha ? Paia ? or wherever it was)

I am in Maui right now! On the aloha clinic in spreckelsville.

Today was the first day without wind this week. Just as well because my hands are stuffed.

The last two days were fully powered on a 5.4m. Big air and riding waves for the first time.

AWESOME!!!

This time last year the lightest day was 20knots
