I'm in Bowen for a few days and I'm trying to find some equipment to buy. I need a whole rig. Some free ride gear would be best maybe a 6 - 7 m sail. Anybody out their able to help
Head 45mins down the to airley . Should find something there . 3 years ago I remember they hired very crap gear right off the beach . Near the lagoon ..not sure now. probably better sailing the witsundays on a maxi or something. . Oh yeah those were the days ..
Hope you didn't expect to find anything there, 2 pubs, 4 streets, 17 people or so.
Lovely spot though. I've done a run to the Island once, was alone, don't think it was smart looking back...
