Sorry cross-posted to NSW.

It's apparently going to blow on Saturday and I'm going to be at Hawks Nest for the weekend. Is Jimmy's too open and will become hugely choppy? The run on the map though looks like one will be flying parallel to the beach. Can anyone advise the best spots and anything to be wary about?

I havent sailed there in years but there are some Sandbars near beach at Se end..??
Noticed them walking..not sure if they'd be an issue..sharks..
Used to be great in a big SE and the guys rave about it in a NE..SW should be a good angle but will have wind waves and maybe swell depending on outside conditions although I think there is bugger all swell at the moment..

it's not the ideal direction for there although if you want chop & open wind then no worries.

a few replies in the NSW section.
