Can anyone tell me if there would be much of a diff between 92 ltr to 118ltr. Will this get me up and moving much easier with a 6.2 H2
Big difference!
6.2m would be a small sail on the 118,
118 would be more suited for 7m+ I ride a 109 SS, I'm 85kg and can get the 109 going with a 7.7 in 12 knots no problem, it's best size is more around 6.7m.
Depends on your weight a bit.
I have a 110L SS, and in Jonesy's 12 knots I get going with a 6.6m, as opposed to his 7.7, but I am 15 kilos lighter than him.
But yeah, generally a 6.2 would be more suited to a smaller board than 118L - if you did use that combo you'd probably want a smaller fin as well.
Nice board to sail though, very happy with mine.
I've got the 118 SS and most of the time I'm using my 7.4 KA Koyote which suit nicely. ALthough if it's choppoy and the wind gets up I'm still quite happily powered on the 6.6 KA Koyote.
I got the 118 and use down to a 6.2 on it.
There is a reason for not many of them for sail 2nd hand - great boards.
