Hey guys.
Just realised now that I wasted 700 bucks back in winter!!!
Purchased a Fanatic skate 90 litre going cheap at 600 odd bucks. Thought well that's a buy.. rang the guy and he said all ok with board i.e. good condition, never repaired.
When it arrived the front of both pads had been peeled back and siliconed back down---- I rang the seller and he said
they peeled back sailing and needed re sticking. When I asked if it had been repaired he said .. oh no ..
I took his word for it,, sailed it for 3rd go yesterday and could hear all this loose resin rolling backwards and forwards in board... What a bummer...
I peeled back the pads and found multiple repairs/ resin injection holes, obviously it gave way on me and now it has caused the deck to 'pop off' .. totally ruined....beyond repair.

Oh well my point is
1.. I cant find sellers details as Seabreeze remove messages after 3 months ( a bit late now for me anyway)
2 ..paypal payment would have been safer as it has a refund policy/protection built in for goods that are 'not as described' when you receive them.
3.. if you doubt anything about your purchase contact seller and be assertive, return to seller if you think you have been misled.
4 .. perhaps seabreeze should have a feedback system.
5. real pity I cant find sellers details now as I would let him know..

What a waste of a 2012 skate 90

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but i believe that most sellers are upfront. I hope the seller reads your post and get in contact with you.

That sux! Sorry you had a bad experience.

Despite most sellers here being honest, I would support a rating or feedback system similar to ebay. Doesn't solve all issues but would create some comfort for buyers if feedback from others is good

Yeah Jas71,thanks for your support
I also believe 99% are great sellers, its just that 1% we have to keep our eyes out for..
Just making sure everyone keeps ' eyes wide open '.
Cash is hard to earn and sometimes easy to blow!!!
oh, well
