... when your kiting.

They're just so relaxed and peaceful.
Zig zagging back and forth.
No 25m high lines to get in the way.
You can have 20 windsurfers in the line up and it all works, add one other kiter to it and its f'ed.

Thanks for being you...

But just one question, whats the point of windsurfing....????
The ones I ever see don't do jumps, don't surf waves, but just go back and forth cropping...

You wont see them surfing waves if your not on waves your self, but waves and kites dont really work anyway do they and you wont see jumps if you never go out when its over 15 knots and if dangling from a string isnt a jump .

So obviously you frequent all the learner and/or intermediate spots.

Good on you.

Not everyone can be hardcore, thanks for leaving the good wave spots to us.

And i thought he was going to tell me something about ther origional one design and the history of windsurfing

Interesting observation ,

You can bet one thing... one two or three or more of those windsurfers will be finken why play amoungst us when then theres so much room down wind

Secondly.... funny that.... 20 windurfers can interact on the water with little fuss ,put 20 kites in the same spot and you got a recipe for a tangle and a dangle etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

I would say
Be stokes these windsurfers put up with your antics, flying your strings around them

As for what manouvers you perceive as good bad or indifferent or dont see,, get over it because everything your doing aint that flash on the eye.

Not everyone is intrested in skimming and being boosted involenteraly or loosing the knife from the butter.

Question
Why is it you think windsurfers dont / are not getting the same buzz as you on the water

Check his profile..he's just out to stir....pics he posts as well dont look very good...probably a fat slug who wishes he could kitesurf so dreams about it and takes his frustration out on windsurfers.

I dont have anything against kitesurfers...all the ones I have met are fine....just the trolls who want someone to bite due to their own sexual inadequacies and the internet being the only way they can release them by baiting people.

Surfingboye used to troll onlong these lines a few years ago with another kiter called Luser, I think. So the old Surfingboye is back. It was good for a laugh. If you don't like it just ignore it.

It might be a test of intelligence. They haven't worked out how to scroll down to the kitesuring forums yet and get annoyed about all the posts about windsurfing.

I windsurf to get out to islands off the nth qld coast, or take my kids out for a spin up the front and sometimes use as a sup or paddleboard. Can't do any of that on a kite but see why people would kite - looks awesome.

This kiting v windsurf thing is a little sad. They are both very much fringe activities with small followings. Unless the sport is managed better than windsurfing, popularity will probably taper off eventually as the people age, have kids or so something more important.
