All organised it's the best week ever. It will be nice to sail again after two months of no wind.

For those who can hang around and see the place, there is also a mountain bike event on the following weekend if you want to make an epic double combo.

TWIN BRIDGES TUSSLE

Back for another year, this exciting event takes place in the beautiful Kuranda National Park along Black Mountain Road. Suited for Intermediate to expert level riders, you can take on either a 32km or 50kms course snaking through the thick rainforests and along old logging roads.

Why go back to GI. Heaps of wind in Hobart. The -3 degree air is ripping out of the valleys into the 12 degree water, then lifting as thick fog into the air. Great fun sailing before work, only 2 months to go and it will reverse into a 10 knot sea breeze. Who's laughing then heh? Not me

Did any one happen to find a new simmer style base plate?

I seem to have lost mine on the last day in packing somewhere. It Has a chinook flavoured toe jam on it also.
