Nah not really![]()
Apparently I've worked too hard and I'm being forced to take 4 weeks off as of this friday
, Problem is I've got no plans and the GF is away on a tour of duty and I'm going to be bored sh!tless...There's only so much fun I can have by myself.
...I'm offering an invitation to anyone that wants to come and sail with me(sad I know), Don't worry if your not pulling triple loops as yet......I'm a gumby when it comes to wave sailing
.
What I can offer is five star accommodation(bed or floor), Olympic pool(spa), gymnasium(some dis used stuff in the garage, Cinema(tv), Disco(ipod dock), Post card views(open the blinds and have a look), Epert guides to the area(it's out the front door and down the road), Transport too and from the location(chuck all the crap in my van), Quality dinning(pizza delivers), Expert documentation of your epic wave rides(I've got a couple of GoPros if you want to use use them, and maybe I can take some pics with my camera)....And much much more.
PM me if you interested, I need some friends![]()
.....We have heaps of options from my place, Lake Illawarra/Port Kembla for Westerlies, Windang/Callala Bay/Woolumboola/SP for the southerlies and Gerroa/Woolumboola/SP for the Nor'easters.
Keen to get some new sailing buddies, Open to all levels and disciplines.....
Hopefully it's an epic month...Hope to see some of you Seabreezers![]()
I'm taking the kids there for a week in January, ex wouldn't let me take them up north in WA, so I'm returning to the old stompin ground.
It's been 8 years since I sailed there, is it overrun with kiters like WA ?
A few of us are planinng a Gerroa Weekend early december. I'll let you know when we are down so we can hook up for a sail.
I may even come down for a day trip in the next few weeks, work and time permitting.
Hopefully the next trip wont be as painful as the last. It was 5-12 knots and a nasty shore break...very hard to get out through the whitewash without bruises. I'll bring my SUP next time for those sort of conditions!
teenagers aren't interested in actually doing anything sporty unless you can talk about it to your 'friends' on stalkbook
jason,
that's a nice offer you put out there. my wife is away ATM but there is no time for boredom here with 3 kids!
might see you in December, I hope.
even my kids say "oh, not windsurfing again" (not that I get the chance much)
good luck
