The other day my Fibersnap boom ubercrappy plastic boom clips gave way. Unfortunately it seemed that the replacement clips are in short supply, so I was forced to come up with a repair. I am guessing that Passion Fingers Mineral ( he just has to touch your kit and it's f......d) already has already discovered and posted this last millennium, but just in case he hasn't, an old SDM mast base makes a perfect reinforcing ring. Simply cut off a 5 mm ring, round off the edges and slid over the boom clip and glue :-)
