When I was there in 2014 and a Hurricane came within 500nm of the islands they started to shut everything down. Biggest pain was no petrol stations open (trying to return a hire car with full tank). Fill up and stock up on essentials. They tend to over react to these situations.

Yep, all the staff in supermarkets and hardware stores today looked like a set in a Hollywood movie about the end of the earth....we stocked up

Moving into our category 5 hurricane shelter right about now Dezza and we won't be turning off the power anytime soon lol

Great place to have fun.
A couple years back in Hawaii I first saw a big bottle of Corona cheaper than a normal one here. Then saw all the beer had the big option. Then the food , only big options. Was in pain after starters at the Cheesecake Shop . Now I can put it away but this is something different. Your not going to go hungry in Hawaii. And.... I swear u have to go through a modelling agency to be a waitress. And it was super cheap to hire a Harley even though they drive on the wrong side if the road . Tip.. look left when crossing the road , it's hard when your drunk and stuffed

Kite Marshall Courtney had to go back to Oz yesterday, but she launched one last kite while the sun was still shining

.....anyway the wind was smokin before todays rain and much fun was had by all and sundry
