4 races of 40kms in potentially 40knts of wind... now that'd be a defi.

Wow. That is amazing. I assume Patrice used his personal influence but even that shows how much he, as a brand owner, Defi winner and former PWA world wave champ, is behind the LT (and yes, he is also heavily into foiling).

At the LT Worlds Patrice did say that his slalom board sales have dropped dramatically and his waveboard sales are even lower by a long way, partly because of the negative effect of the waveboard's design link with the PWA. LTs and foils are what he's selling now.

Can't do it this year, but maybe we should have a LT class in the Ledge to Lancelin? With the LT Worlds in Perth that summer, it would be an ideal time to run it.
