And the time to sail in it..![]()
. No way Xmas day..+ 100mm's of rain but that can come of a night..
What do you want for Xmas?
( Ps - I have a list of things I could ask for but I won't..)
Christmas day sails are a tradition I'd like to see revived. I've had a couple in the last few years and its always a joy to windsurf on this day. Much better than watching some rerun movie while eating chocolates.
This Christmas, if the wind is up a bit I'll aim to windsurf at South West Rocks. If its really blowing I might head for some flat water, perhaps at Stuarts Point.
Here is a video of windsurfing on Christmas Day I took in 2010. It was a great day.
Family stuff/ Xmas lunch etc means no sailing on the day..
..be a happy little vegemite if I can scratch the itch Xmas eve ![]()
and maybe boxing day..

25 knots for me.......but drinking johny cans then sailing just doesn't work.....good sebreeze all the week after though..
I really enjoy the first sail after Xmas and catching up with all your windsurf buddies for the first time, ie. the handshakes, greetings, etc. etc. Sounds a bit old fashioned I suppose.....
Must be the beers I've just consumed.. Getting nostalgic!!
Cheers n Beers
