Because the 3 brain cells most people over here have are precious, I've only got 2 and one of those has gone walkabout

We wear helmets in winter as its so cold and it keeps us a bit warmer. Plus Gath is Australian and we like to support Australian companies.

Very professional production. Perhaps its time for a windurfing movie for NSW windsurfers to be made.

nice production jason.

I love that there is all sorts of gear being used & sails from 4.2 - 6.5?

I prob would have used a 5.4 'cause I like the power!

great spot down there. I at least got out in Syd harbour, 5.4, 25 knots

Hi,

The sailing looks great the water is nice and flat great sailing to all the guys.
Also thanks jh2703 for the footage good editing great work.

How far out does the shallow banks go, are you always sailing over the shallows or sail over a transition to the deeper waters at some stage.

Thanks for sharing

Kind regards
Walt

That flicky spinny thing around 3:00 is sweet. I know freestyle gurus do all kinds of mind blowing stuff but that looked really smooth and cool.
Great footage of the speed runs, really well done Jason. Professional as!!!

Always sailing over the shallows, it's what makes it such a good freestyle and speed sailing spot. You can sail from about 10m off the shore if you have a short fin like me (15cm) but most people walk their gear out a bit. If you go right out into the middle of the lake it's deeper but pretty choppy. Where most people are sailing in that video it's keen deep at most.

Sweet vid Jase...Sloooooo mooooo

Another great vid of yours Jase . Slow mo stuff looks really good . Nice freestyle stuff Chris . Really appreciate the time you take Jase to get the footage to produce these videos that show how much fun we have out there on those special days.

Thanks CJW for that

Sailing over shallow water I always have a better sail. Meaning I try more gybes at speeds and try lay down gybes in fact i'll try anything not that any of them work all the time, the psychological effect of shallow water bring out the best.

Thanks

Kind regards
Walt

I'd love to watch it but the files are too large for my computer. Do you have a smaller version?

Huh?...it's streamed off the web...Sure it's cached but the file wouldn't be more than ~50MB for the non-HD version, i'd say not even close to that. If your computer doesn't have 50MB free to cache that i'd say watching this video is the least of your problems. Are you getting some error message or video stutter? If so what is it?

Another quick way to do that Keef is hit the 'Vimeo' logo in the bottom right of the video frame, that opens it up in another browser window; for future reference

Thanks to all for the great comments and support. I enjoy the movie making side of things as much as I do windsurfing.

...Thanks again, Jase.
