I don't know whats worse. The kite in the line of fire or the edit to the windsurfer rigging up in the next frame.
The surfer's lucky he punched through/over it. Imagine going over the falls and into the lagoon wrapped in a kite. Unimpressed i'm guessing.
look at the direction of the kite, Id say the kiter (24m on the inside of the surfer) got pretty smashed from that wave. Chances are on the head too.
You need to be smart when kiting around others and boats and .......10 foot waves on shallow reef.
Who surfs them waves on a twin tip anyway?
