Freaky Hijiki!
Makes me wonder if I sholud replace the Front screw of my tuttle box foil with a length of rope to secure it after the rear screw has been sacrificed to contact with a submerged object. An extra screw and a screwdriver on board and off you go?

Carry a spare deep tuttle with you. There's no way that the foil is rotating out of a deep box without ripping stuff up. The tolerances are too tight especially the top corners. There is a modified tuttle out there, iirc, by Mr. Tuttle himself, that does rotate out without breaking the box.

I like that it acts as a fuse when you hit something underwater! They say it is not recomended for aerials.

It does look neat how you can replace different foils so quickly and easily. But I reckon if you hit something, the damage you will do to the object you are hitting will still be significant. And when it flips up after hitting something, I suspect the foil mast will slice right through the back of your board - can't imagine how nasty that would be when travelling at say 30 km/h+. Also, if the system was to not fully engage in the track, you potentially don't have the full length of the tracks in the box, which would mean that the loading on the tracks that are engaged in the box is much greater. I use Abracadabra and it's also very quick.

Could work for SUP foil and maybe kite foil. I think too much side loads with wind foiling.
It is a neat system though.
