FLIGHT F4 EVO FOIL FEATURES

Mast: 95cm.
High-lift wing span: 80cm.
Tail wing span:38cm.
Base: Deep Tuttle.
Fuselage Length:75.2 cm.
Construction:Full Carbon Pre-preg.
Weight: 3.9 kg (with Packaging:6.92 kg)

I recently had the opportunity to try the upgrades to the NP F4 Flight Evo foils. The fuselage has been extended and the rear stabiliser adjustment has been simplified and streamlined.

My initial impressions with these foils are that they are very fast in a straight line. The extra fuselage length adds stability but you still have the ability to change angles quite quickly if need be. The new rear wing adjustment is very simple, and the whole kit can be put together and adjusted with the one wrench which comes with the kit. The rear wing can be adjusted by simply turning a screw, which allows a fair bit of fine tuning.

The whole package is very slick and would suit someone who's looking for speed from their foils. This kit is available from Windsurfing Perth for anyone who's keen. :)

Yep have to agree with all that Maddlad. I bought one of these babies a few weeks ago. I am still on the learning curve but this foil feels super nice. The tail comes off with one screw and front wing with 3 screws, so nice and simple. Also the build quality looks high end.

What's the area of the wing?

80 cm wingspan might be the wing used for course slalom racing.
Probably somewhere between 700 - 800 sq cm.
I doubt if any foil is really accurately measured.

I'm glad you like the foil Steve. I use starboard foils myself but am lucky enough to get to test different foils every now and then. I agree the build quality looks good and the tail adjustment is real nice too. I hope you get lots of great use out of yours. :)

80cm is probably spam width.
Sq cm is generally used for area except for Slingshot.

So, how many slices of these fit on the wing?

Maybe 6 or 7 I'd say.

Lots of inane replies.
80 cm is wingspan.
Area is sq cm.
Two different things.
