Hey, I'm going to study at Sunshine Coast University from jan to july. I'm just wondering if that area is a good place for wave surfing and kite surfing? How often is the wind strong enoug for kite, and the waves big enough for wave surf.

appreciate all the help!

bye

what do you mean 'wave surf'. If you are talking surfing with a surfboard than there are some sick waves around sunshine coast, especially cyclone season, jan, feb mar. If your talking windsurf surfing than I beleive the wind is usually pretty light.
