Just moved to VIC from QLD and wondering where some of the easier to get to spots are in VIC?
obviously have heard of and looking to check out torquay and bells at some point.
What are some other spots I need to look in to?

all great surf spots
but i wouldnt call these short drives from melbourne.
there is no really short drive surf spot from melbourne CBD
Torquay is the closest from west Melbourne the Peninsula is the closest from east melbourne....go east if the wind is N to NE and go west if the wind is N to NW
ah cheers for the suggestions guys, i checked out bells a couple of times this last week and it was epic.
morno, i'm living im flemington so pretty easy to get out to torquay from there..
def gotta go check out portsea / phillip island sometime soon
