swellnet posted that to facebook. everyone that commented highlighted the drop in, stating that dingo's a dick for even thinking about claiming that. faith in the surfing community boosted.

would be good to see #dropindingo trend on one of the social media channels to make an example of it to other surfers!

Intersting words on Instagram. Created a frenzy of comments. Wonder how he feels about getting burn't away from his beloved Superbank. Me think's maybe not so much fun.

Lol. Greed? Selfishness? Ignorance? Rudeness? Where those some of his justifications?

Man is lining up the wave of a lifetime and he just takes it away. Wonder what the multitudes of groms think of that? Like most groms, I guess they will want to be just like their hero. Nice Drongo Morrison.

Great wave but what a tosser. Fair enough if the guy whose wave it was had been snaking heaps, but 'just because I'm a local' reason is crap. What a poor example to set.

He did kinda outrun a few of those sections too IMO. Spono's should be dropping crew with attitudes like this, just in an attempt to improve what is often a pretty poor culture in the water. Guess its just a dog eat dog world

What a flog. I read alot of that on instagram, and he was absolutly copping it and fair enough.
Wonder if the bloke he drop in on is a local also? Id like to see that guy come forward and tell his story.
Was funny seeing guys like Kobe Abberton trolling along with him also trying to back him up and justify, got some good company there, he was copping it over "ours" and his now famous entry during that really ghey comp they ran there.
Didnt see any of the other good guy local pros like Joel, Mick or Bede backing him up.

P.s. i dont think he actually surfed that wave all that well, he could have stalled and got much deeper on a few sections. Easier said then done yes, but he is ment to be this amazing pro, maybe he needs to go back to getting towed in.

Sign of the times my friends...
Burnt surfer shouldnt feel so bad he was sitting way deeper.
There was a time long ago when the hottest Kirra surfer sat deeper than the pack and whistled loud as he wound down the line.
Shame the dude couldn't hang in and appear through the curtain as the wave was being claimed......

I Wonder if dingo would have the same attitude if the guy cracked it and busted a couple of his teeth in the car park

Or what would he say if the guy behind had run him down and injured him with his board The truth is that what he did was stupid, careless, arrogant and he is still trying to justify it to the media Really poor form IMHO

I always remember what Danny Green used to say about localism
They might be a local out out in the water but he's a local in the car park

Hunt to find Drongo and finish the job? One good wording would sort that behaviour out. Ever wondered why Mark Mathews and friends don't go to Cyclops anymore? Had nothing to do with Cyclops but everything to do with their behaviour at other waves in the area is what I heard. Locals got jack of it and made it very clear they were now unwelcome.

The other locals should pull Drongo into line over that. Then again, it would mean more waves for me if I can take any wave I want at my local. Been surfing there 23 years. No one else deserves a good one. DONE! lol

And if Koby was backing up anything I did or said then I would be really concerned and start questioning my behaviour and judgement. Koby is right up there for biggest tool award.

The other easy solution is to sit one metre wide of him, look him in the eye and say "Seeing as how that's the game I will make sure I am on the outside hey?" And proceed to burn Drongo on every wave for the rest of session. It worked on a Brazillian pro a few years back for me.

You can buy the dirt near the beach but you can't buy the water you're surfing in.
Last year around this time First point at Noosa was firing. I'd patiently waited for ages for a good one. Finally had a great set wave that I was in the perfect position for. Took off and who should drop in on me but Julian Wilson who'd already had a slew of waves out there as everyone "ooohed" and "aaahed" his waves and cleared a path for him.
He completely screwed the wave for me and if I had a mean streak I could have easily run into him as we were that close but what's the point with pros?
Instant parriah.
No win situation for the normal surfer and some of the pros know it and can take full advantage of it.
Wouldn't of happened if it was Kong on the outside of me. Different generation.

I hear ya mac. That's the problem with today. If some peanut with a bit of "street cred" commits the biggest sin in the water, he should be prepared to either back it up or pay for his sin ALONE.

But in this day and age all his mates have to jump in and bail him out of something he created in the first place.

What ever happened to the good ol days, when 2 blokes could go toe to toe Someone won and someone lost. After all said and done both either had a beer together, went there seperate ways, or the loser went home to lick his wounds.
I recon if things were still like this alot of blokes would think abit more before doing dumb s#!t.

What a stooge! The comment to justify the burning is very average. Certainly not a pro you would let the kids aspire to be, after those comments!

He is getting absolutely hammered on social media. Karma has a way of working things out. Pretty sure Dingo won't be dropping in on anyone soon. Local? Whats this talk of him being a New Zealander?

Funnily enough this happened to me the other day. Ironically guess who has been appointed the new physio in town. I look forward to the conversation I may have with the said bloke who dropped in on me should he ever require medical assistance.

Haha thats hilarious. I once sold a boat to a pair of Chiros, and i had a run in after refusing to let there 6 kids out on the water test. Anyway a few years latter i went to my wife new Chiro and guess who.

He remembered me straight up and i said "this is going to be unpleasant isn't it?" He replied "Yes more so than normal"

Anyway i still use him today so all good

Give him hell Waveless
