Which sites do i use to check the waves in NSW

Hi I live in Belmont NSW and was wondering if someone could tell me which sites i use best, and which knowledge (tides/wind direction etc)i need to be able to determine the best spots, on the best times of the day to surf. Im not an advanced surfer by the way!
