Hi Everyone,

I am an older beginner (yes there is such a thing), taking my 10foot board to Merimbula. Can anyone recommend a place to surf and a good teacher?

Hi fellow old fart,
Head to Ford oval, specially in a north east wind, there's usually a dribbler of a wave there perfect to hone your drop knee turns .Don't forget to stay out of every ones way, find a spot not to far from everyone else but still in view of the main pack in case something happens and you need help.Good luck and spend up big to help our southeast economy.
P.S. Coastlife adventures will give you lessons.www.coastlife.com.au
