I am off for a conference (junket ) next week staying at twin waters.

I plan to do more surfing than conferencing!

Is there any surf nearby, or best bet to head up to noosa?

Cheers

Hey Trevor from the long boards section. Guessed you realised most of the guys in the shortboards forum are west aussies

Any of the waves walking distance from Twin Waters can be better than up Noosa way, depending on the banks. There should be a southerly swell next week but you need to get up early to get it offshore.

jjd ...mate, if you're on a longboard...., you'll feel right at home in Noosa. The place is infested with em. Shortboard....Perigian, Coolum, Sunshine Beach has plenty of great beachbreaks. As the previous contributer said, just get up with the sun.
