I am carrying a quad coffin 7,0 with me. Did anyone have a problem in this way flying with JetStar?

Cheers

I recently flew Virgin - there is no length issue and no additional charge for surfboards. Flew direct from Brissie to Bali with no stopover.

flew darwin to bali on jet star, full plane, 2 boards 6'5 slim bag, no charge. with checked in bag

flew bali to perth on air asia, 8 foot coffin with 2 guns in it, 150 000 rupees, pretty cheap id say but only had carry on luggage

I think it all depends on who's on the other side of the check-in counter.

I've had varying experiences with the same airline, just a different person on the other side of the counter

Read the fine print, i quess that will be worse case scenario
