I'm going to Vanuatu in May for 10 days and will lug a board or two with me. Staying in the Pango area on Efate. Has anyone any info on surf in the area, winds, swell size for that time, breaks worth checking out on the south coast area?

One of my favourite places in the world its one of those places thats better than what they say it is, main wave (accessible)on the island is in front of the Breakers resort can get good, can be ordinary, but you would'nt travel just to surf it.

Had one of my top 5 coffees at the Breakers Resort made by a little Pango village girl it was unreal / piece of art.

Pango point didn't do it when I was there wrong swell direction, there are a heap of waves around the island but need local knowledge to understand the set-ups IMHO.

Swell is fickle at best I think you will be lucky to score but worth taking the board and booties the coral is shallow and nasty.
