Something a bit different...I've been watching this blokes vids on YT for a little over a year now, he travels all over the place & donates money to random people. I won't go into it, you can discover it for yourself if you enjoy his vids. Looking like its going to be a long time before we can travel overseas so vids like this might help...or just make you froth harder. Most likely the latter, sorry but its all we have right now.

This blokes been in Sri Lanka, arrived just before the restrictive sh1t started & on a few of his vids I've been like. Wait point the camera over there, I think I just saw a wave. But this Norwegian bloke has no interest in waves, even when he was in Siargao Cloud9 the camera would point away from the waves which can be frustrating. But hey you can find videos showing non stop sick waves & I'll be wanting to see more of the local non wave landscape to help decide if I want to travel there.

But anyway, I watched this video & thought hey it looks like a bit of a fun wave. Probably a bit like surfing East Bali dry season after lunch with the onshore winds...but nice & warm fun waves.....watch from about 26 mins if you don't wanna watch it all.

I've never been to Sri Lanka but this place is not real close to where I hear most people like to go. Sometimes you can have more fun at light onshore places than perfect condition places when crowds aren't an issue.

Are the Japs still going to Sri Lanka or are they over it?

Dunno Buster, I havn't heard of loads of Japanese in Sri Lanka but I have heard its good to try & aim not to be there during Euro holiday period.
