Hi,
Anyone shipped a board to Hawaii for a reasonable price and have a contact to share?

The guy I know has his eye on one but could be two.
Would no doubt be more cost efficient if freighting.
If someone is willing to carry on then it would be one.
I'm just trying to help him out.

If someone was keen this option would be your best bet.

If someone going over was willing, Hawaiian Airways baggage limit is 32kg's per person - HEAPS, and you always go over there with way less than what you come home with.

If posting I would check with DHL. I used them in Europe last year to send stuff back to Aust. (5 kg cost 50 euro)

When there last I checked with UPS to send a few back to Aust and it was way to pricey. ( $400 each )

Cheaper to buy 1 when you get there. The Surfboard Warehouse in Honolulu stock most major Island brands.

Next time I go over I'll buy a cheap board here first ( 50 bucks ) take it with me.(in my boardbag)

Ditch it there then buy a new one over there and bring it home.
