With our authorities admitting they are unsure of numbers and habits of the sharks, how about they allow the Japanese to come over for some "scientific" research, like they do with the whales.

Out of the 3 species, whales, sharks and seals, why can't we cull the seals seeing as they aren't native and are contributing to the problem it seems. No seals might mean the sharks nick off

Wonder what they taste like? I bet they're fishy and manky like mutton birds
Maybe you could pen them and feed 'em lucerne or something for a week or three to clean 'em up.
I'd give it a crack.

having a chat with a couple of mates the other night, the shark issue came up, is it true there is a "live" sheep trade out of Freo? a suggestion was made that sick or dead sheep end up overboard? maybe a contributing reason for the extra sharks around the area, or its maybe too many ales speaking?

Live trade out of freo has been happening for years, same as other ports around the place

Linking sheep trade to sharks is absolute sh?!. Greenies desperate for any negative attention they can possibly attract toward the business.

Of course they dont dump the dead sheep nearby, you seen many floating past your local beach?..
