Ok guys , its almost 2 weeks untill the kickoff of the first event of the 2011 season - the Quicksilver pro on the Goldie .

This competion is free to enter and we will be using the assistance of Fantasysurfer.com.

Details: Each of you who enter are given a $50m salary cap and can purchase up to 8 surfers.
The better surfers are more expensive but if they are having a bad year they will decrease in value as the year progresses. The flip side is that if you buy a roughie and they go really well you will make money from them and be able to trade and buy better surfers between the different events .
This is just like fantasyfooty tipping if any of you have done that.

How this competition will work is that once you have entered the competition you will be in the global run for the best surf tipper (great prizes) and also be apart of our "sub" Seabreeze competition.
Here's the catch though guys - the "Team Seabreeze.com.au" will be going head to head with all the other teams out there and we all will get some goodies if we go well .

How to enter:

1) Visit the Fantasysurfer website at fantasy.surfer.com/register/ .
You will need to register and login - this is also free.

2) Once you have registered and logged in you can then start trading . Do this by either clicking on "Trade men" or "Trade women" up the top right of screen written in green. Have a go , you'll figure it out

3)Then to join our Seabreeze club/comp ,
Click "Dashboard"=>"Clubs"=> (scroll down to private clubs)=> then find and join Seabreeze.com.au.
NOTE!!! The password is "BREEZE" (upper case)
Just so there aint any blowins without visiting the seabreeze.com.au site first

That should do it!

Good luck to everyone

(If anyone is having any problems please let me know and I will do my best to sort them out asap. There are still 2 weeks to go so there is still time to iron out any problems)

Yes , there is some interesting inside goss getting around there and helpful to keep up to speed with whats going on with the tour.

I spent quite some time choosing my team last night. Have decided to go for the Kirra specialist team with the outlook of trading after bells.
Soo many combinations , soo many outcomes......

I have orderd a Cyclone for 2 weeks time.

Good work Kearnsy, I'm in, don't really know what I am doing but hey, it looks like fun

Picked Dane Reynolds then read about his knee surgery, so had to change that one, if he surfs then he is back in

His heat last year against Parko was the best heat all year for on rail surfing IMO

I posted a question on the fantasysurfer forum just so I was also clear Thommo,
here is the response I got.

"A sky box is kind of like a club house only it is put on by the surf industries like Quik, bong globe and so on. You can join any of them you want and if you have the highest scored of any of the other club house members for each event of that club house usually but not always give you a prize. The prize for each event should be announced in advance. "

I cant believe how many times I've changed my selections.

We should have a prize for whoever wins in the seabreeze section. Even if everyone thats entered got a block of wax and sent it to the winner via mail...... Ant other sugestions?

slightly off topic and a little bias ,but it might be worth throwing a few lazy dollars on the wildcard (matt banting)in the quickypro to get past his first heat ,i know he is up against the king(kelly), but with nothing to loose, good aerial attack and a style smoother than baby poo in a blender ,could chance an upset!!go the grom!!

One more day to go folks - sighn up or make those last few changes pronto!!!

I was at the TAB on sunday arvo and was looking at the odds to take it out this year.
Kelly , Mick , Jordy and even Parko were all paying around $4 . Taj however was paying $11 so I wacked a 10er on him for good luck!
