All surfers (and families) who frequent the Scarborough, City, Floreat and Trigg Beaches, are invited to the Inaugural BBQ of the Scarborough Kiters (WAKSA Beach User Group).
WHERE/WHEN: Brighton grassy area BBQs, by playground. Sat 5 Feb 2011, starting around 430pm or when you finish your surf!
DRESS: The theme will be 'Civilized' with Ties compulsory (but nothing else).
Go for a surf at Scarbs, pop on your Tie after and get together for some good company, drinks and nosh!
OPPORTUNITY: Also to be invited are representatives from the local Surf Lifesaving Clubs, Stirling and Cambridge Councils and other beach users. This free event will allow informal comment and a chance to meet.
Scarborough Kiters (WAKSA) vision is of safe kiting at Scarborough Beach, in harmony with all beach users.
Sausage sizzele, salads, soft drinks, ice and the nearly-famous Shan's Punch will also be available, kindly supported by WAKSA (Western Australian Kitesurfing Association).
