I use a Panasonic GX8 with the 100 to 400 Leica lens (200-800 equivalent).

Brilliant combination for water sports.

Does 4k video too... :)

Very nice, I was seriously considering grabbing the GX8 for its similar specs to the G7 but with sensor shift & weather protection.

I have a few Lumix G lenses, 12-60, 14-42, 45-150 & my current surf pic lense 45-175

I've been watching ebay for a 100-300.

Do you do any handheld surf pic shots with the 100-400 at over 50% zoom & find they turn out ok or are you set up on a tripod
