I'm not generally into all the air stuff... but that is impressive - particularly as it was so well controlled.

It didn't say. It was a clip from Coast watch. I will say though folks on there FB page weren't that impressed

I'm not a biggy for airs either but in a heat you'd be happy to be that clean

Got the required score and took out one of the whiz kids.

Andino has not quite busted down the doors expected of him but not much you can do when someone pulls off something like that.

Having said that I still prefer to see three or four big turns than one masive trick.

Mellings wave which I think is still the highest score is a prime example of smashing the whole wave

There was a pod of dolphins hanging around during his heat. On one wave about three surfed the wave before he caught it.

luckyyyy, nothing i like better than to piss off everyone with yet another shark sighting. i reckon he should have had his wave scored higher coz he rode it alongside a dolphin.

Good pick up. But pumping up and down tail gives it away in my opinion

I just love that surf though. Just pearling off

It actually says at the bottom of that slide that he had a "dolphin escort".
