Found this interesting/funny/shareworthy.

"It can be a pain to put on a tight wetsuit. It's even worse when your wetsuit is damp and cold. The best way to overcome this is to put it on as quickly and as painlessly as possible. Here's a tribal knowledge tip for you. Put each of your feet in a plastic bag and slide it through your wetsuit as you're putting it on. You'll notice that you can get your feet right through the tightest part of the wetsuit with ease, without any tugging and pulling. Take the bag and do the same for your hands and wrist if you have a tough time getting your arms through. You should be able to get into your wetsuit in about half the time you normally would. This is great for cold mornings or surf shop dressing rooms."

Winter down south wa, secret trick microwave wet rashie 45 seconds than put on warm nice and welcoming biggest downside is it destroys your rashie after 3 months.... Test your room mates first to check microwave power. Is it worth ruining a rashie to score north point mid arvo glass off . If you said no you haven't had it good over and out

Another trick i used to use for the cold mornings, is to put your wettie and some hot water in a bucket with a lid on it.
Feels good putting it on. Although it makes the ocean water temp feel colder because of the temp difference.
You can get around this by drinking lots of tea/coffee and having a pi55 in the wettie

Go down to your local Adult Store and buy some water based lube. Before you leave the house, put some in a bottle and fill up the rest with warm water and shake. When you get to the beach, just squirt your slippery lube concoction all over the inside of the wetsuit and you just slide right in

So this seems like a sensible solution but my question is how did you learn about it?

Personally I have been a big fan of the plastic bag for many moons, but in the last few years I have adopted a second steamer due to a warranty bonus and have never enjoyed the winter more.

"but in the last few years I have adopted a second steamer due to a warranty bonus and have never enjoyed the winter more.", that's what one of my buddies o/s said before he bought a dry suit. Thanking about that, while o/s they were selling capsicum powder to put in your wettie pre-go-out...
Do they have that here?

Fark that, you'd wanna make sure you had a good pair of jocks on!! Capsaicin powder up the japseye would NOT be much fun. Try chopping fresh chilli and taking the old fella out for a wee and times it by 100

For years I have been putting my wettie on inside out. Works very well, even when cold and wet.

Plus when you take it off it is inside out. So ready to put back on again.
