Hey,

Looking at a groveller for summer to handle 1-2 foot / mushy small days and i can t make a call between the CAB SAV from Nick Blair and the Puddle Jumper. Any chance somebody here would have tried those ?

Open to alternative as well. I m 188cm, 84kg, fit, average surfer. surf in the Norther beach (manly resident)

Thanks!

I've got a Rusty Heckler, love it. So fast and bit more performance than normal fish. you can get shaped if ordering from Rusty Aus as I think it's only on their US website.

Get PERKO to make you one of these
5'7 x 20 x 2. 1/2
im 6'3 90kgs and I surf on this when I wouldn't normally go out. Flys in knee high and handle up to head high.

PERKO SHAPES on the Gold Coast....he ships to anywhere
this cost me $400 delivered to Perth (that's board and delivery total!!!!)

Whoao that s super cheap for a new board ! I can t find his website though. Do you know the volume of your board for example ? the dims looks very small for a big guy like you to grovel.

That Perko thing looks like the type of thing you should be looking at for sure or get a small kneeboard heaps of area and foam for mush is a must. Both those you mentioned will work but there's heaps more options that would work better in 1-2 feet slop.

From what I've read the cab sav is a good small wave board, heaps of volume.

Surf69,

what are those "heaps more better options"?, other than mals?
