Checked out a surf shop up in thornbury Vic ( Zac's) man what a fantastic collection of old surfboards from 50's,60,70,80 through the decades , maybe 40+of them, if you are into surfboard history check it out ,absolute classic

I went to the Montezumas restaurant in Mooloolaba, the owner could well have one of the most expensive surfboard collections in the country. Everything from original malls by Mactavish to MR's own boards. At least 50 boards in the rafters of the restaurant. There was even a Greenough spoon!

after seeing the prices achieved at some of the auctions, those sought of collections could be worth up to 100k, not a bad little appreciating superannuation nest egg
