I love the Billabong Challenge, all of them. I love when men surf like men, with hairs on their chest. I'd rather see one, friggen solid turn laid down by a guy with big legs than ten fluffy turns by a kid then an aerial.
Remember another one I saw as a teenager in the early nineties ..it was called rolling thunder I think..was probably pretty cheesy but I loved it. Had a full story line where Robbie Page was an old man living in a cave telling children what it was like to surf b4 the earth was ruined. Some good kalbarri footage in it too if I remember correctly.
"Second thoughts" by Timmy Turner was a favorite though ( they were the first guys i had seen ride with full length steamers in the tropics ..right onto the dry reef )

Blue horizon it's had its critics and even from its two main stars but a lot of it was so true at the time Andy was that comp machine....but some of his free surfing on this movie was insane and too rasta two very different surfers but both very good to watch
