So ya got a 9'0 HP LB & a 9'0 666
I'd say a 10'0 log for the summer days up to waist...
& a shorter high volume board for the bigger days. Short & wide for big/fat. Long & narrow for big/sucky like 6'4 x 20.5 x 2 5/8 & 7'0 x 19 x 2.5
4 or 5 boards can cover a lot of territory. Small/windy, small/not windy, really bloody small but clean, big/fat & big not so fat.
thanks Mick
mate my 10' log is a keeper

and i sold my 9' bear performance longboard a while ago (I'm a dickhead)
i have 2x 9' 666ers i have used for beach breaks and im over 666 ATM… why because they have ****ed my flexibility ,,the old saying use it or lose it applies when you have a back like mine.
I've just got back into yoga and I'm now frothing for more prone surfing.
i have had a 7'6" for a while and reluctant to use as my fitness and back are farked.
so I'm looking for a 9' longboard.
my experience tells me with my flexibility and fitness volume will help,as i know late take offs would be challenging
so
shape will be the key to getting as much performance as i can get from a hi vol 9' board ,,
