Yeah Ted, that's next point around from mine, so about 1km from my house and its a cracking wave. Biggest problem is the "vibe" in the water, gets really competitive... Well for tas anyways my point is not as good but draws a different (older ) crowd...

And vanders, you walk back, waaaay too far too paddle

Mate, you just gotta be paddle fit! I remember seven mile last year and I couldn't be bothered walking out with two boards so I paddled the mal and towed the other behind. Then jumped out of the water and left the shorty on the rocks. Surfed the mal the whole time then when I came in, I was riding one board on waves then towing the other about 15 feet behind. Was a pain to stay with the wave but it was an interesting experience

Haha Tom, I'm pretty paddle fit these days but if I get a full run I'll walk back out to save the arms, means I can stay out longer and use the juice to paddle into waves, not out... Managed 4+ hrs Monday with no break, gotta make the most when is ooooooorn

Haha that's true mate 4+ hours isn't bad for an old man I do that at rubbish tip when its on, but because its actually faster haha When the waves are so good and uncrowded, you froth so hard that you don't even notice that you're about to collapse from exhaustion ay? You're going to have to make it up there sometime.

Here is my fav. Just a few mins from home - as long as you do not get a puncture in the bike

there are a few a bit further afield but that would be telling

Dear Ted

Hi, how's it been?

Having never met you, but having got to know you a little online over the past few months I feel the need to tell you something. Now don't take it personal or anything, and, you know, it IS me and not you, but I have thought long and hard on it and I really hate you. I know it's a little harsh, but believe me I choose my words carefully.

Yours truly

Thedrip

Ps: if I make it to you neck of the woods would you mind looking after me? Just asking....
