Hey guys,

After a while away and being totally uninspired by surfboards, my brain exploded upon seeing the new Vouch 'Vish' shape.

Took me straight back to the Wegener 10' Crusader Model I wrongfully sold some years back and the sensations of riding twin keels that has never left my soul.

This board is amazeballs and I just had to share with you guys.

One of the old boys at work rides some big boarded twin fins - never ridden one myself. What conditions will you be riding this in SA?

....yep, it really is a beautiful piece.

I took it out this morning and it was everything I hoped for and more.

Was worried that it might skid a little through the tail but it held as solid as any 10 inch rake I'd ever used on a 9'6 previously and never remotely felt like the rail was going to give....it also felt super loose and rolled off the top and bottom with a thruster type grace so really the best of both worlds and that's still with that down the line twin keel feel still up it's sleeve as today's waves didn't allow that style of surfing.

I'll be riding her in 1-2 foot through to the odd 6 foot bomb Ted, it will no doubt be my 'go to' board for most conditions.

Very nice shape.

What are you expecting it to surf like ?
big drawn out turns with those keels? One thing I liked about that type of boatd was coming of the bottom and drawing that long bottom turn..

Nice - I believe he is coming for Noosa.

We had a Dead Kooks 11'2 pintail 'Glider' down here recently - very nice beast too.

actually I wouldn't mind trying one.

if it worked I have no problems. some blokes are too stuffy shirt front.

Retail is similar to McTavish etc around around the $1750.00 mark and although those numbers make me cringe, I have to say that I'm not disappointed in it at all.

I just think this board is so cool, enjoy it SA.

A video of the 'Vish' on some fun waves yesterday at Bellambi down here in the Wollongong area.

Referred to as 'cut back alley' and I'm sure you'll see why in the clip - always a fun spot to enjoy some rollers though.

Vimeo have made things difficult with new copyright rules on music so my copy of the clip has British India's 'Wrong Direction' playing which I think suits the movie super well but for public viewing, there is no music - sorry !

By the looks a keeper ...the fins look like there's no "toe in" but straight/parallel..is that the case in the flesh ?
