Obct - tell us some tales! 
I don't want to sound like knob, but...
The surf was pumping today, and;
I'm just really happy with my bottom turns of late.
Laying into the turns off the bottom... really hard.
Down-the-line-speed has been phenomenal lately!
But I've noticed a few things, mini hairline cracks of the trailing edge of the fin, and hairline cracks around the front of the box. The fin has not received any knocks of the reef, and the leading edge and fin tip are in perfect condition. I'm starting to wonder if this is from laying down hard turns with decent 10 inch single fin, which has heaps of leverage on the box.
But really, I just want 'obct' to tell us some more stories about cracks and crack repair!

Ahhhh I have carefully & diligently found your solution Sim Grommie ..... it's the new *< FMD !!! >* box slot ... er geez .... fin box Obs mate will agree with me I'm quite certain ......
your not really laying in bottom turns till you snap the fin or rip the box out- try harder.
and no cheating with saw cuts either.
i once snapped the two inside fins of a quad on a bottom turn once at snapper- true story.
they were prototype plastic ones tho
Just like this track...a shame there is no video....but the lyrics are classic......I can imagine what is happening on dance floors all across the world when this one comes on....shame i am too old these days to join in 
fond memories though Anyway there will be a few tales too be told after a night out when this song is played I recond.......

Thanks Lacey! Makes me think I'm not too crazy! I have also heard of another guy snapping plastic fins on a bottom turn.
