I'm trying to learn basics of surfing and especially longboarding and I don't want to get any bad habits and/or poor stance, so I need some help from the experienced surfer who is willing to devote some of his valuable time to me and share is wisdom and knowledge of doing it properly. In return I'm willing to share my hard earning dollar with you.

As for myself, I've got some surfing lessons as a beginner, but my progress was not so impressive as I was using board which was too small for me (it was 7.6 Minimal). After another surfing lesson in Bali, I've realised that I can still have some fun with waves by using longer board, so I've replaced my minimal with Bic 10 feet Noserider. That's changed everything and my passion to surfing began to grow. My ability to catch waves has increased dramatically and paddling became no issue.

Right now I'm working on my turning and trimming skills and I need some guidance. Basically I need someone who can take my butt out of the bed in early morning, tell me to what spot I should come and watch me entertaining other surfers with my nose dives, funny walks on the board and other stuff done by newbies. Everybody went the same path, right? I hope that you will be able to point to my mistakes and work the training routine to build proper surfing skills which I can use for riding longboards (and shortboards in the future, of course).

I'm happy to pay reasonable amount of money for such service especially if you very good at locating perfect waves at any given time. I’m based at Collaroy and some days I work from home, so time should not be an issue. Please send me a PM with your contact details and I will contact you immediately.

Your local Surf shop should be able to give you contact numbers for such

Just remember to stay out of the way when learning so you don't get abused

Just keep an eye out for OB at yr local. He hangs there all weekend. He can teach you lots of bad habits and it will be very entertaining as well. I would be very surprised if he took any of your money.
