what about black and white checkers down the whole stringer line,just under a 1/4 of the board worth with the red then wrapping around the whole board from there

Get away from the big block colours a man your age needs an understated design maybe like 3 one inch wide stripes in your fav colours running vertically down board offset from stringer with about 30mm gaps between them. Now ring bob and put in the order you'll thank me for this

Go a nice natural Volan with a thick stringer down the guts - laps optional
