He surfs good but he also drops in.........although we do not know what went on before that incident it must be said.

I like to watch him - big smile and he goes well.

Hey Stuk - I am thinking 75 litres plus!

it is amazing that his knees can keep it up not to mention the lung capacity after paddling that bulk around.

A real inspiration though, I'd be pissed if he dropped in on me but would never say so

Well, a fat 7'3" Fish comes in at 53 litres at nearly 3" thick... and that board looks to have a more traditional SB outline... dunno!

No reason why it couldn't be the "puffer fish" model surfboard... 3"3/4... or 3"7/8 or 4"! Look at S*P's FFS!

Boards are.

I ride a LOST board shaped by MAYHEM Matt Biolos -2010 Surfing Magazine Shaper of the Year. He constructed a Big Boy Fish and a sick round pin for me. My fish is 7'0 24 by 3-3/4 and my round pin is 7'6 24 3-3/4. If anyone would like to order the big boy pro models let me know (using the info at the end of the article -Bruce) and I will set you up.

And an article on Big Jim, the website is called Chubstr...

Does anyone know how how big he actually is ie: height and weight. I only ask because his fish dims are only 2" wider and 1/2" thicker than mine, I'am 6'4" and tip the scales at around 120kgs.
So I would think if he was roughly the same height ?? he would have to be at least 140kgs???

Great find - I enjoyed that read SP. He is certainly an interesting character. They should have asked him a few more pointed questions though I reckon.....soft interviewer!!!!!
