Just got back last sat, had 8 days there, enjoyed the great swell last week, too big at Castles for me, hired boards from Big Wave Dave

Is KOA still the best hire spot?

Make sure if you can do the cultural center up that way before you leave.. Great show especially if your with the family..

got a 9,9 Tak double ender in the rack and ready to roll.

Shared a couple today with this lady who lives in Malibu she just picked up her custom Makaha yesterday she goes good around 50 and smoked many today

Nice...ive got mine in the KOA rack...couldn't be bothered lugging it back down to our place. Have you been surfing queens?...

Most days at queens a couple at canoes, I've been looking out for you even thow I've got no glue what you look like haha, my in the pink is the last board on the rack near Dukes if it's small I'll be on a rental

Yes I think that's my 11 footer should be ready. Yes there boards are much longer than we would ride at home, say 10 and 10.6 are standard here, girls are riding 9.6 were at home we ride 9.6 and the girls ride 9.0 volume is everything here and the Tak goes ok but a 10 foot rental is on the cards

Girls back here ride 9'6's too, real men ride 11'+

Yep...I surfed small fun fun queens at sunrise and then went down and surfed at castles which was bigger and super fun, it seems to be picking up the swell better.
Getting ready for a late arvo session now...so might go up towards the marina more and check it out.

Hired a machine and drove up the north shore, picked up a nice 9.5 fin and had a nice swim, Glide good forecast for the weekend, I hired a 10 footer yesterday and scored the best wave on the holiday so far.

Yeah better again this morning...got out Queens at 545am this morning, got afew nice ones.
I too got my wave of the trip last night...nice little cover up on the inside section at queens after getting from the outside.
The 9,9 Tak double Ender is going good...getting figured out.
im pretty much surfing the two hours from sunrise and then 2hrs till sun set....squeezing the family time in the middle.
Looking forward to more waves the next few days!
